SuffolkMumsOnline Recommends

Great Little Adventures

We're keen to feature fantastic Suffolk-based companies on our site, and share them with you. As luck would have it, our very first recommended company is run by two mums who happen to live in Suffolk!

Ann Bailey and Tracy Flux, run Greatlittleadventures.co.uk, and would like to "...welcome you to an ever-evolving feast of places to stay, places to eat and things to do with the family."

With every recommendation on the site having been tested by real mums, dads, grandparents, and children, you can be certain of a warm welcome at any of the destinations .

The company promises that 'From sandy feet to stylish chic we have everything you need for your own great little adventures..." So if that's what you're looking for, get along to their site pronto and check it out! We love it.

Raspberry Rascals

We're all for recycling here at SMO, so we'd like to recommend a sweet boutique in Bury St Edmunds called Raspberry Rascals.

The shop sells a wide range of nearly-new children's clothes, toys & books from birth to 5+ Years, and have just begun stocking Maternity Wear, too.

Open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and with online customer listings to boot, if you have good quality items to sell, or are searching for great value children's items, then we reckon they're well worth a visit!

Check out the website at www.raspberryrascals.co.uk.

Spread the word...

The Suffolk Real Nappy Network

We want to make sure that you know about as many useful organisations, and causes as possible.

The first organisation we think we should spread the word about is The Suffolk Real Nappy Network, a community focused voluntary organisation promoting the use of washable nappies to reduce waste.

Offering a range of services, from try before you buy, in-store demonstrations, and mobile demos, to their shop which sells a range of organic baby clothes, toiletries, and products, they are the authority in Suffolk on real nappies.

Visit their website to check them out today to find out about the Real Nappy revolution, then pass it on, and help us to Spread the word.

If you have an organisation or cause you would like to promote, please get in touch by messaging Suffolk Mum here.

handbags not nappy bags!" The boutique staffed by ladies who understand what pregnancy is all about and will guide you in choosing a range to suit your budget and to enhance your ‘bloom’, and perhaps best of all offers comfortable and discreet ‘baby feeding’ facilities, generous changing rooms and an on site ‘Maternity Heaven’ – the place to visit when you need a holistic treatment designed specifically for expectant and new mums.

Jamie at Home - Jamie Oliver's new party - great for mums who would like a part time flexible job or of a course a fun night in x

Hi everyone being a mum at home and juggling lots of balls in the air at the same time is very challenging. However it does not bring in a wage to the home and it does sometimes mean that you crave some more adult conversation that does not all centre around babies and children!

Well I have just become a consultant for Jamie Oliver's new party concept - Jamie at Home.

It is a brilliant party plan business - the products are to die for and are all very affordable - not just centered on the kitc… Continue
